I was also working in Coventry at this time teaching Aerobic classes mainly at the Coventry Racquet Sports Centre, where I stayed for over 15 years.
How fresh faced and pure do I look on my promotional photo?....goodness how the camera can lie sometimes.
I was very supple way back in 1984 and although I can still get my legs in those positions I would now be in traction for weeks afterwards if I attempted to do a flying split leap.
The spirit is willing but the body sure as hell isn’t.

I had a fantastic time teaching in Coventry with classes of well over 100 people most nights.
Some of my pupils stayed with me for all of those 15 years and even now when I see people who used to attend my classes they say they were the hardest but the most enjoyable they ever took part in, which is a lovely thing to say as I wave them goodbye with their zimmer frames shimmering in the sunshine.
